Hyperloop

How a hyperloop would look like.

Introduction

Hyperloop is the upcoming technology. It brings airplane speeds to ground level and consists of two massive tubes extending from San Francisco to Los Angeles. In this mind-blowing technology, pods carrying passengers would travel at speeds topping out over 700 mph (more than 1100 km).

Who made it?

The Hyperloop concept (as it is widely known) was anticipated by a billionaire industrialist Elon Musk , CEO of the aerospace firm SpaceX and the person behind Tesla. It was built in Hawthorne, California at its headquarters.

How does it work?

Carrying several passengers at a speed of more than a thousand kilometers an hour is not a joke. It takes a lot of effort and hard-work to bring it to life. It’s working as planned goes on like this:

1) Passengers and cargo pass through a low-pressure tube

2) These tubes have magnetic accelerators placed at their bottom along the length of the journey.

3) They propel the pods and increase their speed.

4) For safety measures the pods are surrounded by a cushion of air that permits them to move safely.
